HID LUMINAIRE TEST STATION - Model 9Lx

LSI introduces Model 9Lx, an HID Electrical Test Station for luminaries designed for use on your factory production line to increase the pass rate of your products.  This high-speed, fully-automatic digital test system performs quality control testing to verify all electrical performance characteristics of fixtures and ballasts.  Now with the safe and easy-to-use test station, add-on safety features readily prevent potential injuries to your employees performing quality checks on your products and protect your company against liability.  Improperly wire test equipment combined with high voltages spell an ever-present danger to workers who might accidentally make contact with the wrong wire.  Serious, even fatal accidents can result in a costly lawsuit that could well exceed the purchase price.

Model 9Lx HID Luminaire test station offers unparallel capabilities in quality assurance for lamp and ballast manufacturing.  No other HID test station provides as many advanced features for testing the electrical performance characteristics of your products:

• Stores on hard drive or network the electrical specifications for an unlimited number of ballast types and test procedure protocols.

• New specifications can be added at any time.

• Tests are performed automatically and compared against stored specifications.

• Pass or fail result is displayed with an audible alarm in case of failure.

• Computer and all electronics are isolated from the power circuits.

• Line voltage and frequency are regulated during testing and capable of supplying voltages to 600 VAC.

• Voltage frequency is selectable via the software for 50 or 60 Hz and may be varied for each test.

• Tests indoor and outdoor lighting.

Model 9Lx combines speed, ease of use and advanced analysis capabilities with compact, modular electronic construction and rugged, factory-floor design.  Various options are available, such as test probes and a light curtain safety system, to customize Model 9Lx for your specific requirements.
