Flexing Test for Plugs

The cord set or plug with mains cord are subject to a flexing test to control how much the bending movement of the cord influences the electrical and mechanical connection.

Technical Data:

• The equipment has pneumatic drive with a pneumatic rotating cylinder, turning forward and back +/- 45°.

• Counter with automatic stop of the testing after pre-set amount of test cycles.

• The equipment is mounted on a small table 690W x 450D x 700H (mm).

• The speed can be adjusted by compressed air valve and pressure regulator.

Bump Test Equipment - Model 5200

The purpose of this test is to generate fall down test of, for instance, TV-set appliances.  The principle is that the TV-set is standing on a platform which falls down 50mm rapidly.  The TV-set has a free fall of 50mm.

Technical Data:

• The test equipment is floor standing.

• The test device consists basically of a Wooden Platform No. 1 to place the sample upon.  Platform No. 1 is falling down from a height of 50mm to each Wooden Platform No. 2, which is the support.

• The driver is pneumatic cylinders.  The cylinders first move Platform No. 1 upwards slowly and then let it quickly fall down against Platform No. 2.

• Control unit consists of an ON/OFF cycling timer to direct up and down movements and counter slowly and then let it stop.
