MECHANICAL TEST

Fall Down Test for Electrical Irons - Model 5811

The purpose of this test is to test mechanical stability of fixing the thermostat in electrical irons.  By falling down 200 times on a steel support this stability is tested.

Technical Data:

• The equipment consists of a table with a vertical frame.  On the table is 15 kg steel support is placed.

• The test is executed with an up/down going pneumatic cylinder.  The fall height is 40mm, 20 falls/minute.

• control unit has a counter with automatic stop after pre-set amount of test cycles and a cycling timer for the control of the up/down movement.

• Supply: Compressed air 6-bar.

The purpose of this test is to measure the actual torque from the plug connection with a type of balance.

• The test equipment consists of a fixing device for the plug and a balance with a weight to be set on a scale.

• Two weights for scale ranges 0-0,35 Nm and 0-0,7 Nm.
