CABLE TESTING
BENDING TEST
A sample of a cord is fixed in the bending test apparatus. A weight is attached to a cord having a mass 0,5 kg. The sample is bent at an angle of +/-90° from the vertical line.

COLD BEND TEST
The Cold Bending Test has the purpose to bend cables at low temperatures. After the test the insulation shall show no cracks visible to the naked eye.

APPARATUS FOR PRESSURE TEST AT HIGH TEMPERATURE - KNIFE TEST
Compliance is checked by means of an apparatus having a rectangular blade with an edge 0,7 mm wide, which can be pressed against the sample. A force is applied through the blade according to the standard.
