JET NOZZLE TEST

The Jet Nozzle Test is specified in IEC 529 Fig. 6.  The diameter of the channel is 6,3 mm and 12,5 mm.  To observe is, that according to the latest version the shape of the nozzle channel shall have a conical shape with successively reduced area down to the diameter 6,3 or 12,5 mm.

SPECIAL RAIN TEST - DRIP PROOF TEST - Model 6400

Rain Test - drip Proof Test - has a recommended design in the different standards.  The advised equipment uses many small nozzles.  Experience show that this construction cause many problems with dirt and deposits in the nozzles.

Technical Data:

• The design of test equipment is a practical alternative for drip proof test.  Instead of using many nozzles, only one nozzle is used of generate homogenous rain.

• The equipment consists of main nozzle, electrical valve, flow meter, mechanical filter, mechanical valve, pressure regulator and pressure gauge.

• The components are mounted on a telescope frame.  This frame can be lifted up and down from 1800 to 3600 mm.

• The frame is fixed against the test room wall.  The equipment is simple to handle and do not need any cleaning procedures of nozzles.

WATER EVAPORATOR GENERATOR

The purpose of the test is to generate a volume of water to steam into refrigerators and food freezers.

Technical Data:

• The Evaporator consists of a box with a copper container with a mounted power resistor 25W at 24V.  The space between the box and the copper container is packed with isolation material.

• Outside the box there are two screw terminals for electrical connection to the power resistor.  The resistor is fused and protected by a thermostat 105° C.

• The steam comes out from a copper pipe.

• IEC Reference: 335-2-24, Clause 11.103.
