ENVIRONMENT TESTING

SPRAY TEST EQUIPMENT

The Spray Test Equipment is spraying water beams and splashes on a sample, for instance, washing machines, luminaries, etc.  It controls the IP classification specified in IEC 529 - the general standard for IP classifications.

The principle is that a metallic half arc tube (there are different radius) with nozzles on the inside of the radius is spraying water beams toward the center of the half circle and the sample placed there.  The tube is oscillating during the test at an angle of +/-60° or +/- 180°.

Technical Data:

• Pneumatic drive of the half arcs.

• Half arcs are made of aluminum - light weight.

• Nozzles are used for the holes channel diameter 0,4 mm.

• Turntable with pneumatic drive, 1 turn/minute.

• The equipment is built up on a carriage on wheels and the frame is aluminum - eloxided.

HAND HELD SPRAY TEST EQUIPMENT

This type of Spray Test Equipment is an alternative to the above mentioned spray test equipment and is used for larger sizes of samples and is specified in IEC 529 Fig. 5.

SPLASH TEST

Splash Test is used to generate water splashes, for instance, when testing washing machines.  The splashed are then generated formt he floor side.

• Splash height gauge, 15 mm.
