MECHANICAL TEST

Torque And withdrawal Test of Mains Cord - Model 7100

Testing of fixing of mains cord.  This equipment is divided into two.  Read Clause 25.11 of JEC 335-1.

Technical Data:

• There are two type of test equipment.  One is for the torque test and one is for the withdrawal test. 

• Withdrawal test has scale - 11kg (110N)

• Torque test scaled 0,5 Nm

• Fixing devices for each type of test are included.

Bending Device for Cold Test of Conduits - Model 5130

Installation conduits are cold bend tested to control how low temperatures influence possibilities to bend them without damaging them.

Technical Data:

• The equipment has the purpose to execute cold bend test of conduits, diameter 16, 20 and 25mm.

• The equipment consists of two handles fixed together and three pieces of breaking wheels for each of the dimensions of conduits.

• The equipment is made of nickel plated steel or aluminum.

Tumbling Barrel - Model 5100

The purpose of the Tumbling Barrel Test is to execute a mechanical impact test of components such as plugs, etc.  when the barrel is rotating, the samples fall down from a height of 500mm for every half turn rotation of the barrel.

Technical Data:

• The Tumbling Barrel has dimensions as Fig. 9, IEC 65.  Fall height is 500mm, CEE7, Fig. 30

• The rotation speed is 5 turns/minute.  This means 10 test cycles/minute.  Motor-driven DC motor with gear and belt drive.  The speed can be adjusted with variable transformer.

• The equipment is built up on a table with dimensions 450W x 680D x 700H (mm).

• Tumbling Barrel is made of painted steel sheet 1.5mm

• Fall down surface is made of steel sheet, 3mm with wooden support 20mm.

• Counter with auto-stop at pre-set amount of test falls.

• the equipment can be equipped with one or two barrels.

• IEC Reference: 65, CEE 7, etc.

• Supply: Mains 230 VAC, 50Hz
